Jodie Stone

CPM®, Chief Financial Officer

Meet Jodie

Jodie Stone, CPM®
Chief Financial Officer

Jodie is a licensed qualifying real estate broker and holds the prestigious title of Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). She has served as the President for the local IREM New Mexico Chapter No. 46 since 2014 and has been an active member of the association for over twelve years. She also presides on the board of the Commercial Association of Realtors® New Mexico (CARNM) since 2014.

She has over 15 years of property management experience and over 20 years in finance. She specializes in commercial properties and has expertise in managing retail, office and industrial properties.

Jodie’s primary focus in her position is to oversee the day to-day operations of her commercial portfolio including budget preparation, annual review and reconciliation of common area maintenance escrows, vendor management, lease abstracting and compliance, financial reporting, construction management, and tracking the performance of the properties to ensure they accomplish their anticipated revenues. She also serves as the Chief Financial Officer of CREM.

She was previously with Roger Cox & Associates Property Management LLC, AMO® and served as their Vice President and Executive CPM® from April 2011 to September 2014.

Prior to that, she was President and Qualifying Broker for the property management division of one of the largest real estate firms in New Mexico. During her time with that company, the owner filed bankruptcy and had legal troubles which led to the closing of all companies except for the management company. Jodie successfully steered the management company through those tenuous issues for over a year resulting in the successful sale of the assets.

To start her career in Real Estate, Jodie was Partner and Chief Financial Officer of Commercial Asset Management. She was responsible for all aspects of the company from marketing, business development, developing policies and procedures, hiring personnel, in addition to managing commercial properties.
